Amey & Jack

Amey & Jack asked me to design and perform their wedding music at Keddlesdon Hall in Derbyshire.

We began by entertaining their guests as they took their seats. This is always a great ice-breaker as people enter the ceremony room. A lot of the time, people don't know everybody, and live music helps create a relaxed, easy going atmosphere.

They had chosen their own songs for the ceremony, and I worked on unique arrangements for them

After the ceremony, we went outside for canapes, photographs and champagne. It was a beautiful sunny afternoon, and spirits were high as their guests danced and sang to acoustic covers. One of their friends even got up for a spontaneous live karaoke version of Wonderwall.

Amey & JAck requested that I sing them into the wedding breakfast with an upbeat acoustic version of Beyonce’s ‘Love on Top’. This was something I’d never done before, but it worked brilliantly.

After dinner, I performed a 90 minute dancing ‘loop pedal’ set for their wedding reception. As you can see from the video, all of their guests were on their feet dancing and singing, including a particularly memorable father and daughter dance between the bride and her Dad.

The night ended with fireworks - a fitting finale to a stunning wedding.
